Default Is there any negative effect on the transmission if the rear wheels are further out than the front?

I'm looking at getting a set of IForged wheels with a staggered offset for a bigger lip in the rear. The offset would be 37mm in the front and 32mm in the back. This means that the back wheel will be pushed 5mm further out than the front wheel. Will this affect the transmission at all?

The set I'm looking at is the same size all around but staggered offset. Does it make a difference?

Default You will be find with the diffrent off set. the problem your talking about with the tranny..

The problem with the tranny only occurs when you run two diffrent tires of a diffrent hight on teh drive wheels. I.E. if you run a 15 inch tire on the right and a 16 inch tire on the left [front wheels] wheel and the car car is front wheel drive. You will stress out the tranny.

No worrys. And the bushings you will be waring out with 5mm diffrens wont ware out any more then normal. Well inless there put in wrong. However with hard driving the bearings and bushings should be expected to wear out sonner.

Peace, Thomas

Lookd like he has coil overs. If not he can always slap a slightly larger rear anti-sway on there.
