Default Thanks Paul...I'm going to start with the cheap road...

just a Manual Boost Controller for now. Once I see how it behaves with my setup I may upgrade to an EBC if it will increase response.

Default MBC's are good for controlling boost spikes which is why the S4's use them.

For your setup you are better off using a EBC since it can help spool up the turbo sooner with no boost spikes and hold the set boost to redline.

i have a ndbw t-28 and i recently installed a mbc in place of the n75 . it helps out in the 1/4 mile times nicely (13.8) but i do see the jerky - ness that has be talked about. i hold 20-25 lb. of boost .

Default Odd that you make more boost during high engine load

even though your running a MBC alone. Without the N75 valve and just the MBC you should see a set boost level all the time since the same amount of pressure is being put on the wastegate actuator.

Default But the tradeoff would be the part throttle jerkiness described by others right?

I am interested in smoothing out the boost spikes for now. The MBC should be a cheap experiment. I'll then experiment with an EBC afterwards.
