Default Yes, but if you use it with the N75 valve you can keep the smooth part throttle

and remove the boost spike. I used the EBC with the PES T28, K04 on my 2 liter and using it now and dont have any issues with it.

So basically connect it in parallel with the N75?

but the adjustability of an EBC is VERY nice.

In that order.

Yes, it runs open-loop, and there is only one WOT fuel map, which goes off of load (aka boost) and RPM. As long as your car isn't lean at 20psi in 2nd or 3rd, it shouldn't go lean in 1st.

I'm not even sure what boost I hit in 1st gear, it goes by too fast

EBCs might be faster to respond, but the question is, just how fast do you want it to respond? Too fast and the boost could oscillate, too slow, and you'll have slow boost build up.

I had a $12 ebay special MBC which worked great, but it took forever to get it dialed in correctly - very finicky.

Yeah, the only function the N75 valve has, is to keep the ECU from throwing a code
