Update: 3500 miles on my South Bend DXD. Still doesn't hold.
Got left at the starting line of our club autocross this weekend with my pants down every time I tried to launch hard. The thing either bogs or the revs fly up to redline and the car doesn't move.
This thing is a piece of crap. =/

Bummer........My AWE (southbend) stage 2 w stock flywheel took just over 1K miles to break in, but..
it will hold anything I throw at it now.
I have ZERO concerns about this clutch even with a spud in the works.
I know you don't want to tear into it again, but the AWE stage 2 should be MORE than enough for the power you're making.
There does seem to be a pattern of problems developing, but it appears that it's isolated to these "Stage 3" aggressive setups. Mine is the full-face kevlar one, not a 6 puck type.

Yea, it's a southbend. The stage 2 is the full face one, not the 6 puck though.
Supposedly it handles less power than the "stage 3" kit some of you guys are having problems with, but something's up if mine holds 6K RPM clutch drops and the more agressive ones won't hold any sort of launch.
Will southbend do anything for you?
