My dealer is quoting me $846 for the Audi Care plan for my 2018 Q3. Per Audi's brochure, the MSRP for the Q3 is $699. Anyone else seen this? I am going to ask them what they are doing above and beyond to warrant the additional $170. If they won't drop the price I will take care of service myself.

No reason for them to charge you $170 over MSRP except to gouge you. Just point it out to them that the MSRP is $699 (show them the brochure). If they don't give you MSRP or a better deal, go elsewhere. Any Audi dealer can sell you Audi Care and you can have your neighborhood dealer provide the service even if you bought Audi Care elsewhere.

Took my car in for the 10K service today and asked about the cost of Audi Care. They said it was $699. I told them they quoted me $869 when I bought the car. They replied, "Oh, we must have checked the wrong box". I am glad I waited and investigated instead of saying 'yes' at that moment.
