Hi,
i got audi q3 2016 1.4 TFSI Petrol 76,000 km

Since yesterday i got check engine light (not flashing) on.

When i run a fault code diagnosis using elm connector and car scanner app.

I got below error code, just wanted to understand is it a oxygen sensor or/and catalytic converter. If both then may be good idea to take it to mechanic. (As i have no idea about how to fix catalytic converter)

I was watching video it is pretty easy to replace oxygen sensor.

Need some guidance please on this fault code. I live in Australia any help on finding compatible one.

There are two O2 sensors on the car. One before the catalytic converter that helps the ECU adjust the fueling and one after the catalytic converter that lets you know it the catalytic converter is working. I would start by replacing the first one (right after the turbo). If it's bad, the second one will think the catalytic converter is bad.

O2 sensors are universal. What you pay for is the correct wire harness and connector. You can buy a cheap universal sensor and just splice it into the wiring, if need be.

Is this the one pre catalytic converter o2 sensor? Or i am looking at wrong place.



I will see if i can get hold of the part here in Brisbane, i called few places and they said is it pre cat or post cat and i am confused.
