Default Best Exterior/Interior Care products for Q5??

Just bought a 2010 Q5 s line in deep sea blue pearl/black. Was wondering on recommendations for exterior sealant, wax etc as well as best interior cleaners, protectant and the like. I got a bottle of Klasse AIO to see how that is and was wondering if after applying the Klasse AIO if I can wax over it? I have a bottle of Collinite 845? Other products to use?? Thanks for any responses.

Cheers

Try Zaino...

I've been using it for years. Very popular with owners of showcars.

I use mostly Car Bright Products. I used them when I use to detail vehicles. Professional product and reasonable price. Just got to their website and look for a local dealer.

I use Meguiars products. Their Gold Class Car Wash, Quik Interior Detailer, and Cleaner Wax work really well and are very easy to apply.

I think your going to find a lot opinions. Here is my run down:

Car Shampoo - Adams
Detail Spray - Adams
Wheel Cleaner - Sonax, but want try try Adams new one
Interior (plastic bits) - Eizzett Cockpit
Leather - Zaino Leather Conditioner
Rubber/Tire - Adams VRT

For waxes and sealers it depends if you plan to polish by hand, a PC or flex.

Make sure to get yourself a wool sponge, nice microfiber towels and a microfiber waffle drying towel. These can all be purchased from Adams as well.

To each his own, obviously. I use Griot's Garage products for pretty much everything on the car.

Nice, thanks for suggestions. Is it good to use a wax after using AIO product?? How often would you recommend for using AIO and how often for wax?

OP, here is the link of the detail section of this forum. This would give you more ideas of which product your interested in using.

I also use Klasse AIO and I always put another protective layer over it. AIO is a cleaner/sealant. You need another protective layer over it like wax. Stay away from the cleaner waxes since you are already using AIO. You need a pure wax in your situation. My detailer avoids using carnauba wax and recommends using an insulator wax such as the Collinite 845 that you already have. I use the AIO/Collinite combo twice a year - Spring and Fall. Just be sure to strip your paint of any existing sealant/wax before you apply a fresh coat by using special car detergent (or Dawn if you're only doing it twice a year).

When I wax, I'll claybar the outside then apply optimium opti-seal (sealant). The only thing I find with the opti-seal is it doesn't fill in any imperfections at all and doesn't give a good deep shine, so I'll put a carnauba wax over top of it (the wax doesn't last even 1/4 as long as the sealant).
For the interior, I just use poorboys natural look on everything except the windows. Works good and smells good at the same time. Doesn't give the shine that most other interior products give, and doesn't attract dust either - my dash will stay dust-free for at least a month.
