I've got about 160K on my 2014 SQ5, and it uses about 1 quart of oil between oil changes (5K miles)...
No oil on the garage floor...it's just a bit more thirsty as it got older.
Still charges ahead like a bull!
Love that supercharger,
Jason

Nice! I have the same... a 2014 SQ5 no oil issues but 90k less miles. Glad to see a high mileage one without issue.

Have a 2009 Q5 TFSi 2.0 211ps. Dont have oil dripping on the the garage floor but the lower cover is soaked in oil, cover is like a cushion/sponge and absorbs the oil.
seems that timing chain cover gasket is worn out or cracked and it is sweating. Only 140K km.
vacuum pump is also sweating.
Also chain Tensioner needs replacing due to durability issues.
I would stay away unless Q5 2014 and later or you are a DIY guy and you have tools and garage to work with the Q5.
Q5 2.0T is an amazing SUV with lots of technology, if you get the right package, that can also be tweaked to perform.
having said this facelift B8.5 (Q5 from 2013) comes with engine port injectors which removes the problems with carbon built up.
+++ for facelift especially one made from 2014.

Roman NJ yeah go for it.Once you're done you'll be really pleased with yourself - hopefully and you can spend all the money you save on beer.
Make sure you have decent tools and the right documentation and a willingness to learn and you'll be fine. The first big job I assigned my 19 Y.O. son when he worked for me, was to swap a 1.8T in an A4 and he was done in 2.5 days and his confidence level went up enormously. He's now a top tech for Bombardier and makes more than me.
