All the Q5/SQ5 made in Mexico going to Houston are shipped via train. The other cars coming from elsewhere that come to the Houston port are obviously via ship

Houston Audi Central (biggest dealer in Houston) receives all their cars by Port from Mexico. Salesman that has worked there for 7 years just confirmed by the phone call I just made. So not sure where your information is coming from. However, I am excited to see that you should have yours very very soon!

Sorry the reason they don’t go by rail is because of cartel. Eventually the plan is to go by Rail but that is a ways down the road.

The first '19 Q5 I ordered before the pricing came out was supposed to come in at the end of November. (I found this out once the pricing was released and I went to my dealer)
I decided to add the adaptive cruise control to my vehicle once I went in to finalize my order but it was too late to update the options on the first vehicle so the dealer has to place a whole new order for me.
The second vehicle is supposed to be coming in middle to end of January but I haven't heard of any delays on this Q5.
