A little harsh. He posts at 3PM and doesn't respond until 9AM the next day. I didn't know that an OP must be on call 24/7 for responses....
Best part is the OP is not even responding

wires not you again.
Are you just going to jump post to post trying to add some wasteful comments that are not helping anybody ? If you are not trying to help why do you feel like you need to respond or comment ?
Someone needs some attention, why don’t you go to your local dollar store to feel important.

Right, because you answered his questions. LOL Come on buddy.....
So if you wanted "constructive" answer:
No, there is no "assessory mode". Your only option is to turn on the ignition without pressing the brake, and then turning it off again. As soon as you open the door or after a pre-determined time (10 minutes?) power will be cut.

do you even read the posts that’s you post on? How ignorant or stupid can you be? Looking above my was the first response stating the corrective action. I also went outside to my car to verify that it works to try and help him.
You don’t even know anything about your car nor can read to get the answer that is located right above you
Thanks for proving to everyone that all you want to do is troll.... I will be ignoring your posts in the future.

WOW... someone is a complete a$$hole.... Nicely done, I'm sure the forums will really appreciate your assistance in the future!
Sorry, no accessory mode though. Yes, you do get the radio, and the only controls that operate it is the little volume/jog ****. Steering wheel or dash controls won't function until you use the power button, and do what I said above.

Yehh…. no kidding.
I haven't confirmed it, but you probably only get ~10 minutes of radio time before the ECM kills power to the vehicle. You would need to power cycle it with the ignition button to bring it back on again.

I am sure the Q5 works the same way, but I have found that on my S5 the radio can be turned on when the car is completely off. Just press the power/mute button in the center console and it will turn on. To turn it off, you have to press and hold that same button until the system shuts off (or you can cycle the ignition and it will turn it off too).
