Not sure if you mean the sport exhaust that they began offering with the MY22, but if so, you bet. I had the Audi OEM Sport Exhaust installed on my ‘21 SQ5 and it completely changed the exhaust sounds. Louder, more pops, more burbles. Off. The. Chain. I chose black gloss tips for my DGP black optic Prestige. Worth every penny, highly recommend!

Did the dealer make the change or did you go somewhere else?

I can't believe Audi actually did the cold exhaust thing. Probably doesn't affect performance but it just seems misleading.

Yea Audi dealer installed. It’s Audi OEM. Here’s the link: https://parts.audiusa.com/accessorie...nd-Design.html. This is the same exhaust that can be ordered on MY22 and newer. I also pulled the solenoid wire off of the exhaust pipe with the valve and sealed and taped it out of the way so always open. They said the Sport Exhaust would enhance exhaust sound, although I wasn’t expecting much. It not only enhanced, but increased volume and more pops and burbles. BTW, we have the same SQ5, lol.

That's not possible. The "sport exhaust" is just exhaust tips that clamp onto the existing exhaust outlet. It's not possible for it to make more pops and burbles...

Agreed. Or make it "louder". Might be a marginal change in volume, but very marginal. Both have the same cats, same resonators, and same muffler (so same tone, volume, burbles).

Well I assure you I know what my exhaust sounded like before and how it sounds now and what I’m stating is correct. It may be just as simple as the construction of the inside of the pipes. I’m no engineer and have no idea how Audi did it, and certainly didn’t expect it. I’ll try to get some sound clips and post them.
