I wouldn't want to delete her profile for fear of de-activating the fob.
I think the user/keyfob relationship is not static and the active user is stored in the keyfob that's locking the car so you should only have to do this once to stop her profile from being selected when unlocking with her keyfob.

And deleting her profile won't affect her keyfob.

Let us know if it works. I would try it on our Q5 but my wife is out with it and my S5 has the old MMI without users.

I don't know any other way to clone user settings like you were asking for.

I tried in our Q5 and it worked.
  • I started by starting the car with my wife's key fob. The car loaded her profile.
  • I switched to my profile and shut the car off.
  • I exited the car and locked the car with her key fob.
  • I unlocked the car with her key fob and started the car. My profile loaded up.
I also found this note on the MMI under users and it confirms the active user is assigned to the key in use and automatically loaded when unlocked with that key.

Now I have to go undo it or she will be mad at me.

YAY!
Tried it again and it worked. I must have done something wrong or out of sequence the first time. Thanks for your help with this.

Great, and it will work until you wife decides to call back her profile and locks the car with her keys. If she really does not want MMI settings for herself, I would delete her profile.

And then of course there's the seat positions. If you both use different seat settings with memory 1 for one driver and memory 2 for the other for example, the car will restart with the seat settings that were in use for the last driver of the key unlocking the car. If that was her, you will need to press the door button and you do not have to hold it if you press it while your door is open.
