yes, that makes loads of sense.

and i too was a Subaru owner. i owned 4. great cars, but i thought they just never kept up with the times. they seemed about 5 years behind on pretty much everything. i do miss my STi though.

Default pedal issues

I was wondering if my car was in that batch because I have a normal soft brake pedal when I start the car sometimes. Other times I have to push hard to get it to start. This is the only one of out 13 Audis I've owned that has had this phenomenon. It's like the boost it needs for me to start the car is non existent but only intermittently.

I'll found out Tuesday. I also get CarPlay added to my R8 Spyder. Hooray! Two trips out to the dealer in the same day.

The master cylinder is not the cause. No solution to the hard pedal. The CarPlay programming is a big fail.

Does anyone know if this issue can cause a squeaky pedal? My pedal squeaks in the first 1/2 inch of travel. Comes from the interior of the car tho, not the brakes themselves. I am getting a new master cylinder now, and hoping this also fixes the noise.
