Default Replacing Water Pump on 3.0 SQ5

I just got my 2018 Audi SQ5 Premium Plus with Sport Package back from its 60K mile service, I had been smelling coolant burning over the last week and about a month or two ago I had a warning light come on saying Low coolant… It comes to be that my water pump was leaking coolant on the engine and $1,500 later, I have a new water pump. Has anyone else had this issue at only 60,000 miles? Most articles I read say a water pump should last 100,000 no problem. Also, I know Audi has recalled the water pump on their 2.0 engine… Now I’m hoping they recall the 3.0 on the SQ5 so i can submit reimbursement.

Thoughts???

My 2018 SQ5's water pump failed at 53,000 miles or so, out of warranty. The local Audi dealer replaced it for about $1,500. Sigh...
