Hey Guys, my wife has a 2010 Q7 3.6. Her check engine light came on and when i put my computer on it it came up with P2293 and P2294. the car has minimal power when accelerating but after a while on the highway it functions normally. When starting it the engine turns for a few seconds before it actually turns over. I changed the fuel regulator valve, fuel pump, fuel filter and high flow sensor on the rail. The check engine light is still there and the P2294 code keeps coming up. I have been reading and the only other things I think it can be is a broken ground somewhere or a relay. I don't have a book to tell me which relay is for the fuel pump so I'm SOL with that. If anyone has any opinion or a schematic of the relays I would be truly grateful. If not I'm going to have to bring it to the dealer and I know I'm going to get killed with a bill. Thank you in advance!
Hey mate. Firstly have a look at your fuse/ relay box located near the left hand side of your windscreen under the bonnet. You will to take out the 4 torx screws holding down the cover but it is all under there. Depending on if you have your relay there or not the 30A fuse for the fuel pump is itemised as no.16. Check that fuse firstly with the ignition on. If you have a shirt to ground with your wiring for the fuel pressure circuit as per your fault code the fuse may have popped. Chase your wiring back to the rail sensor etc on your engine to hopefully find the broken wire. Simple checks with a cheap multimeter and a bit of wiring bud will save the big $$ at the dealership. Hopefully the pics I have added will work and help also just some simple google searches of your engine bay wiring/ fuses will help ya out. The bottom pic is of my panel with a 4.2fsi
