Default Interior buttons illumination issue

Hi Guys,

New to the Q7. I just picked up a certified pre-owned Q7 a couple of days ago and noticed that at night I can't find the buttons for items since they are not illuminated. Looked at photos online and saw that they should be. MMI system is pretty extensive, am I just missing a setting to turn this on? ( I was trying to find the button for the heated seats and the button for the heated steering wheel)

Thank you for your help in advance.

Steve

No. If your dash and steering wheel are illuminated, then these buttons should be also. They dont require a separate on/off

There's a small black ****, down and right of the headlight control. Brightness controlled there... note: the button can be stowed, just press it to pop it out...

Unfortunately the buttons on the center console are not illuminated nor the buttons on the steering wheel. The only lights I see are the ones from the virtual cockpit and the climate control.

Yup, sounds like it. I'm thinking it could just be a bad fuse.

If the car is indeed Audi certified, I wonder how it passed their extensive 300+ point inspection.

Sorry guys but it's user error. I just found out that the 12 o'clock position for the light switch on this Audi is not auto. Coming from Mercede they had their cars auto in the 12 o'clock position.
