There are certainly more buyers for the Blackline taillights since they are quite a bit different than stock as compared to the standard European taillights:

It took me a minute to decide to get them, I did want to be slightly different and personalize the car a bit more. Figured one more payments worth of customization wouldn’t hurt.

Seems a tad silly to go to all the trouble of running wiring to both taillights or paying a shop to run the wiring when you can have a plug in setup for $25 more. No pulling additional trim parts, no running wiring, no futzing with BCM2 modules and plugs, no swapping plugs at the taillight.
Taillight Package Q7 Dynamic
The modules included make the installation as simple as replacing the taillights as they bridge the North American wiring to the Rest of World (Euro) taillights for a plug in fitment.
If anyone has questions don't hesitate to let me know or PM/email: contact@europrice.us

4rings option is $1,200 + $150 cable
Still a $354 difference?

Europrice option is $1,375 = Plug-in
4rings option is $1,200 + $150 cable = $1,350 + trims to remove + wiring to run + plugs to change
Then if you want the brake and turn uncoupled VCP needs to be purchased/used, highly suggested. There isn't a way with just wiring to stop the brake light from blinking with the turn signal, VCP is required. Plus you get a $20 discount on VCP when purchased with a taillight package and you can purchase it all at once from one source which gets you support from one source as well.
Cheers,
