Remember that there have been multiple posts about the mileage displayed in the car being off. Numerous people, including myself, have noticed an 8-9% discrepancy between what is being displayed and mileage calculated at the pump. That said, 9% less would've still given you 28 miles per gallon, going down to 25mpg at times, which is still quite good considering its size. I absolutely love how smooth and quiet the Q7 is, and how relaxing it is to drive for long trips.

Yep; haven't done the actual calculation or used an app - just the VC, but was expecting much worse compared to diesel economy. It's actually fairly comparable based on the cockpit readouts from the respective cars, with the 3.0 Audi losing some to the diesel Bimmer, but still impressed with the economy hauling weight in a big SUV. The road handling and comfort are also pluses, so I may be a fan someday... . Well done Audi....
