Just saying - the dealer wants $100, and they have to do it in their bay.
I, on the other hand, have a vag com, and would much rather have my car sit in my driveway whilst I put in the code or something. And not pay $100 with all the BS of having my car sit at stammler while I swap ECU's.
Thoughts?

maybe
I heard that the guy that runs one of the Station Automotive shops, the one off Evans, has a VAS 5052 and an Audi of America authorized work shop code. Supposedly he has GEKO access allowing him to perform immobilizer tasks as well all the other fun GEKOness (stupid guided fault finding) Here is the number I found.
