By Denver, I mean Capitol Hill/Wash Park.

Default I go to Powerhouse gym?
Doesn't have b-ball, hot tub, etc. Just has weights, cardio, and some free classes. I've been satisfied there for the past 5 months or so... and I agree with your hatred of 24 hour fitness. This gym is brand new as of November with pretty nice equipment. If you end up considering it, let me know.

I'll happily provide more information if you like.

Check out the YMCA - the one up in Arvada is very, very nice!! Much nicer than any 24hf
