Contact Groups and RS7 MMI
Not sure if I should post this here. I've got hundreds of contacts on my phone. My previous cell phone let me make "groups" of contacts, such as Personal, Business, etc. I had a group called "Car". That's the group I connected to MMI.
Now I have a new phone (Blackberry Priv), which is running Android Lolipop. It still allows groups, but no longer allows me to select one group only, over Bluetooth, to sync with MMI. Consequently, I end up with over 400 contacts in MMI which makes it awkward to use.
After a few weeks of searching I found an App that fixes the problem. Go to GooglePlay and search for "Bluetooth Phonebook". There's a free demo version, and a $2 functional version. Try the demo first, and if it works for you, spend two bucks for the real one. The ability to send Contact Groups (or Catagories) to the Audi MMI doesn't exist in all cell phones. If your phone is lame, this program might fix the problem.
