Never know when you'll run into a fellow RS4 owner at a trailer park

3G. Integration is otherwise flawless....just the loud connection noise is a problem.

The phone will connect at whatever volume you have the phone set at. When I use my Jawbone Bluetooth headset, I need to increase the phone master volume for it to be useful. When I connect to the Audi after such an adjustment, it is freakin' loud. Worse yet if it rings when I am driving.

For the more elderly among us, may I suggest low dose beta blockers as a preventative measure.

As for trailer parks, well, I am just choosing to not comment on that issue at this time.

Default it only sporadically does this incredibly loud squawk, and it happens even when i have...

...not made any adjustments to volume. it then squelches itself to a more normal volume after the squawk or first couple of loud rings.

i don't use a headset or any other bluetooth device, so i never change the volume, except on the steering wheel to prepare for the potential sonic assault.

it can happen on the first call of a drive, not on the next 2, then on the 4th, and so on. doesn't seem to be related to any specific user action.

Default FWIW 2nd.My previous Motorola RAZR never did it but it was included on the approved list...

... for my model year. The RAZR was designed to work with MY06 onward. So, with my car being not-so-new and my Blackberry being oh-so-new, it working was more a stroke of luck than anything.

I get the heart pounding siren blare occasionally when dialing out, too. Flippin' Hell...<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiusa.com/etc/medialib/cms4imp/audi2/aoa/company/owners.Par.0040.File.pdf">Updated compatibility list</a></li></ul>
