Belly pan fasteners on my 08 are slotted not philips

anyone else. I am wondering if it changed
between 07 and 08.

I want to say I've only seen slotted fasteners since my 2000 S4

second. my b5, b6 and now b7 have all had slotted belly pan fastners. pain in the butt

I mean the screw heads are flathead not philips

I saw an oil change write up that intimated
that a philips screwdriver is used but in looking all I see is flathead

Do you loosen them with a drill or by hand?

Any other belly pan tips appreciated
as I am getting ready to change oil
and want to turn a respectable first
time

By hand. They are quarter turn fasteners. Don't forget the ones in the wheelwells too.
