Bluetooth problems, constant connect/disconnects...
My Razor phone worked find for the longest time but lately it has been getting into this connect/disconnect loop. Very annoying. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas on how to resolve?
I fixed it last week but deleting the device from the phone a few times and then reconnecting but this morning it started happening again.

It happens to my Verizon KRZR sometimes...
when it does I just turn the phone off and turn it back on then it stops.
It seems to happen to me when the car is on and I walk away from the car with the phone (so it disconnects) then I go back to the car and when it reconnects I seem to have the issue.

I had this when I added Jawbone to my BB
I was able to resolve the issue by deleting the RS4 from the phone and pulling the phone battery for a hard reset. Then adding the Audi as a device from scratch. No problems since with either the Jawbone or the Audi. Jawbone is very nice, obviously used when not in the RS4.
Also, be sure to keep metal objects way from the phone contacts in the armrest. I did have this happen a few times when I had a foil-backed pack of gum in there. It apparently made contact and killed the BT a few times.

Funny - I just had same problem pop up and here's what worked for me
Crackberry 7130e. Paired fine for months, then last week Bluetooth started connecting/disconnecting constantly. Tried lots of stuff (everything I believe, including reloading crackberry device software and changing every possible setting). I'm running the latest Audi software as well.
What finally fixed it was:
delete the (audi) device from the phone
reboot the phone (I turned it off, then removed the battery for a minute)
Reboot the Audi RNS-E MMI. This is done when the system is ON by holding down the power button for 20 seconds. You will know if it's rebooting if the screen blacks out and won't turn back on for a minute or so (it's busy rebooting)
Now go through the re-pairing steps once again. My system has been stable for several days, now.
Good luck!

Another thing to keep in mind with Audi bluetooth...
it does not like special characters in the phone numbers. i.e. pauses and stuff like that for when you call your bank or voicemail etc.
I had a Treo that I had done that on and all of a sudden it just kept pairing and then rebooting the phone and unpairing etc. Removed the special characters and all was fine.
Eric.
