Carbon buildup

My check engine light came on and the dealer couldn't figure out what it was. They finally figured out it was an engine coil that went bad. Two weeks later the check engine light came on again and again the dealer didn't know what it was. They decided it was the fuel injector and replaced it but the code didn't go away. After another day they decided it was extreme carbon build up. My car is a 2008 with around 28k on it. It has been a week and I am still waiting for my car!!! The dealer told me the build up was common in an A3 and that it is from bad fuel. I only put 91 in the car but he said it was made for 95... To me that seemed ridiculous!!! I am concerned about the car once it goes out of warranty because the dealer also told me there was nothing I can do about it and that the build up would probably happen again. Is anyone else experiencing this?
