Engine Oil for RS4

Engine Oil for RS4
I tried a search but with no luck. My 08 RS4 has about 1100 miles now, have had it since Jan 08. Do you know:
1) What grade of oil the car comes with from factory?
2) What grade of oil the dealership uses for oil changes?
3) What brands and grades of oil you all use?
4) Would it be recommended to change the oil now since I just about broke the car in?
All input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know you posted this question because you like to see us argue in here. :-)
but it's been discussed so many times I'm tired about hearing about oil.

http://search.audiworld.com/search.html</a

Here are some thoughts...
Change out the factory oil before 2,000 miles, now would be fine.
Lots of good oil alternatives out there, you will get as many opinions as there are people on the forum... choice of "approved" oils and spec oils and non approved but good performing oils, dino oils to synthetic to vegi oils...
The choice is yours, I personally run the BioSyn oil and have for 30,000 miles with great results.

One of hundreds of oil discussions....

My thought: don't worry about the oil, worry about NOT driving the car...
All cars run best when driven regularly. IMO, 1100 miles in 8 months is more harmful to the vehicle's life than worrying about choosing the "wrong" oil.

Maybe an economic issue but certainly not a longevity issue. Many vintage vehicles are driven much
less than that but have long and trouble free lives if serviced and stored properly and brought up to full operating temperature when they are run.
