Where did you find instructions for the S4? I'll be doing same shortly. Lidatek, too.

Default Lidatek will be harder to do......

The S4 grilles made it very easy to but the transponder between the sections of it. The RS4 doesn't really have a place for it.

I plan on dremeling center and right below the filler plate panel so it can be mounted.

You will also need to remove the entire front bumper if you want to remove the grille.

Check out the B7 S4 board, many people have done it already.

Not sure what instructions you're referencing. I just used the wipers fuse and bare wire -- works like a charm.

Good question -- I don't know the number, but I'm pretty sure it's second from the bottom, middle column. The back of the panel cover has a listing, though, so make sure you check it first.
