Production end date
Just wondering... Can Anyone shed any more light on this?
If what I'm reading is correct, all B7 RS4 Sedan production is slated to end in November (Cab prod will continue into 08 however). My 08 RS4 order probably went in the system today, what is this gonna mean for my order??
Am I gonna get this car possibly in Dec if they're going to build them all out by the end of the month (wishful thinking ) or is this possibly a bad thing? I guess I'm just wondering what impact this has as far as delivery time.. dealer has got no clue about any of this Thanks!

Re: Production end date
I found this article from a car site in South Africa; maybe the same schedule will apply to North America?
Highlights:
-Taking orders for RS4 Sedan until the end of November.
-Production will be discontinued after January 2008. Switch to B8 Sedan.
-RS4 Avant will be produced until May 2008. Switch to B8 Avant.
-RS4 Cabriolet will be available for sale well into 2009. The Cabs are built on a totally separate assembly line, if I'n not mistaken.
Hope this provides some clarification that is relevant to the USA.

http://www.cartoday.com/content/news/singlepage.asp?in=8784</a
