Tinting windows on Daytona Grey
This is the first car I have had since the advent of window tinting that I have not tinted. I have seen 1-2 in person including one of the posters on this board who took it off because it did not look "right"
It's an unusual color to match up to tint, although I say a bluish/green hue light tint that may work. Living in Southern California it's almost a must but I refuse to ruin the look just for tint.
Have any found a good tint, if so could you post a picture?

I removed the tint on My Daytona because it just didn't look right with the silver trim. I saw a tinted Daytona avant in London with the black optics package and it looked sick with the dark trim and wheels.

I took it off my RS6 (Daytona) when i bought it used as I did not think it worked great
either as mine was too dark for my taste...car came from Florida and so I really didn't need that level of tint for a chicago car...was coming close to running over pedestrians at cross walks at night as i couldn't see them easily coming...it had a greenish tint to it that i think worked well...I think if you went with as you said a lighter tint and headed toward greens it would work...daytona is a warm color so greens work better with it...blue is cold. I do have some pictures of it in my pic poster. I have a neighbor with a Daytona RS4 tinted and his tint seems to go well...if i can remember to ask if I see him soon I will see what he used.

BTW I ordered the euro-steering wheel yesterday.
Man, what a week I almost two cars and wussed at the last second, but that Black Series CLK is a machine.

Personally, I like my tint

Call a Terrific Tint in MIssion Viejo
They're across the street from the Audi dealer in Mission Viejo. I've got my tinting done there and it looks great on my daytona grey. I went pretty dark all around.
