Used RS4s: How Much are People Actually Paying?
I'm trying to decide between a low mileage used RS4 or a new S5. If I could buy the RS4 for $5-6K more than a loaded S5 I might go that way. But, nearly all used RS4s are at dealers, and dealer pricing tends to be high. I'd like to know what people are actually paying. For instance, is a low mileage RS4 really worth $67-69K or can you buy one for $64K. And I guess the most important question is: WOULD you buy a used one?
Thanks for any info.

Used is a great way to go...
Just bought one for 61K, 5 months old. Excellent condition, i'm very happy with it.
I wouldn't pay 69K for a used one for sure. I'd go new if you are contemplating paying that price.
However, if still under warranty, you have very little to worry about.

Here's one in your area I'd guess you could get for < $64K. Miles are a bit high. I've noticed
that the asking is highest in the PNW and California.<ul><li><a href="http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=230073719&dealer_id=2335447& ;car_year=2007&model=RS4&num_records=25&am p;make2=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=& keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_c ode

if you can find a CPO one, used is fine.
there really haven't been any major mechanical issues reported here, and many of us are well over a year and 15k+ miles into ownership. If I was you, I sure would like to drive the S5 first before making that decision, though.
