Default Anyone have this problem with SD card MP3's

Loaded a bunch of MP3 songs onto an 1G SD card. However, some songs (seems random) do not show up when the card is loaded on the Nav+ screen. Anyone else experienced this ? Any known solutions ? Thx

Default I had some problems with a 2Gb card at first...

...but then I realized that the files had become corrupted when I copied them to the card. After I reformatted the card, recopied the files and checked them on my PC everything worked fine.

No problems, just make sure the files are all MP3, not MPEG4

Default Are the missing files in subfolders?

If so, there is a setting that needs to be set to allow access to mp3 files located in subfolders. Possibly in the SD Setup menu? I can't remember where it is now but once we set that we were able to see all songs on the card.

Default Re: Are the missing files in subfolders?

Yes. But I have all the files in subfolders and am able to see most. But for some reason about 10 (of a total 90) don't show up. Strange. My only thought is that they may have been extracted from older cd's ... but not sure how that would matter.
