about just getting the rs4... i thought the s4 could have been quicker. are they available yet, and if so, has anyone driven one to know the difference, and if so, is it worth the extra $$$?

What makes you think that you could actually get one.
Only 800 coming to the US. The likelyhood of you actually getting one (unless you know someone or have bought 10 or so Audis from the same dealership) is very slim! Its only worth the $75K+ if you think it is. There will be faster cars out there. Plus the new M3 will probably be as fast, less expensive, and more available?

I agree w/ your reponse...
The M3 will be less expensive, just as fast as the RS4 according to certain test results and will be readily available. I can't see myself spending over $60K for a car. Just my 2 cents.

especially since you can get a 2006 Z06 for 55K with options and a 0-60 of less than 4 secs
of course if you are looking for an all weather sports sedan the S4/RS4 is still the car to get

sorry. just can't drive a modern vette. and you're comparing apples to oranges in a big way.
plus if i wanted an american dragster and didn't care if i looked like a friggin' tool, i'd just buy a viper.
