Default Question about removing the light housing...

I am trying to remove my passenger side light housing so that I can get access to the adjuster and replace the o-ring. (You can see the fog in the picture)

I am not sure exactly how to remove the housing. I see the two screws on top, but I read a post that mentions loosening two screws from behind the housing as well. Where are those screws and how do I get access to them? TIA for your help.

Default Re: Question about removing the light housing...

You have to remove your air intake plastic tube there. Then there will be a bolt if you look straight down, just loosen it don't remove all the way. Then look behind the headlights where the air intake box is, there is a screw there that also needs to be loosed.. Once done you can slide the headlight out to remove the thing. No need to disconnect the switch.

Default Remove the air intake and...

Scribe around the two top tabs before you remove the top screws so you can put the light back in the same place. remove the two top screws. There are two lower screws that you will need to loosen (but do not remove). then slide the light out from the front.

You may also want to put some blue painter's tape on your bumper below the light to prevent scratching.

If you want the Bentley page on this IM me with your email and I will send.

Default Help - How do you remove the air duct?

I have the front two screws of the air duct out, and have actually separately removed the front half of the air duct (comes out at that accordian rubber part). I can't for the life of me figure out how to take off the back half of the air duct, and it is covering the last screw I need to get the housing out.

The manual says to remove the EVAP canister purge regulator valve, but does not give any details on how. Then it says to just remove the air duct, and mine seems solidly attached to something underneath. Am I missing something?

TIA!
