Has anyone installed a short shift kit on the 2004-2005 six speed? I saw where "greedspeed" offers one. I had a UUC on my BMW E39 540 with a weighted **** and it made a tremendous difference in positive, short shifting. I don't know if they offer one for this S4, although they do for the B5.

Any information is appreciated.

I think a few have the UUC.

Short shifter is a pretty cheap mod, relative to what else is on the market. Granted, it really has no real performance value, it does have a certain enthusiast value as it makes shifting more precise and short.

I once had a B5 guy get into a B6 with a SS in it and he commented that being in gear in the B6 felt like he was in neutral in the B5. Very short.

I believe that almost everyone is happy with the Strat SS. I wouldn't fool with anything else

A friend of mine said that mine had a shorter throw then the Strat SS. I should've installed it along time ago!

and I am very happy with it. I spoke with Greg at Stratmosphere, he is super nice and very helpful and I had it in 2 days. I would definitely recommend the Strat SS.
