Update on engine problems. (VAG 5052 output included)
I picked up the car about 5:15, and the tech said he couldn't get the EPC/ESP lights to come on during his test drive.
The VAG tool showed 1 fault:
18047 P1369 008
Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch -C- Circuit
Range/Performance
sporadic
08 - Read Mesuring Value Block
Display Group 60
Read data block

ADP. O.K.
The tech said he cleared the fault and that it should be fine (yeah, right). The car made it down to Foxboro OK, but on the drive back the EPC/ESP lights came on and the throttle was back in 'Limp' mode. On some of the hills on 128 I couldn't get the car above 70mph...
So, the car's going back tomorrow. Any one have experience dealing with a busted car that's so new? Should I try to work it thru the dealer or just call and yell at Audi?

original thread

Work through it with your dealer. Remember - this is the first one of these they have had to
troubleshoot. If you help them figure it all out gracefully, they will be your friends in getting things resolved with Audi and you will need their cooperation to get this resolved quickly.
Yelling and screaming will only prolong the pain and is unlikely to get solutions early on.
If this turns into a long term problem, then cut loose with all you've got......

Jeff, the throttle postion sensor has been the cause of some problems in the B6 A4s...
I'd suggest to them to start there and replace it ASAP, rather than waste any more of your/their time. Do they even have parts in stock yet?
Good luck!

Another update
As I pulled out the garage this morning, both lights came on again. I was able to make it to the dealer w/ the lights lit, and they pulled the faults (same as yesterday).
Now they've gotta call Audi and see what to do....
