The RS6 is the forgotten beast. There are plenty of 'just a tune' RS6 times in the very low 12s at teens MPH, and with piggies and a tune, you can push them into the 11s. Awesome cars and far too often overlooked.
All the times look about right to me, but the TTRS in America won't run that fast stock since we can't get the DSG...

Totally, agree on the RS6... almost bought a low mile used one before I bought the B8 as I would love to have that TT 4.2 motor...

Me too...I looked real hard at it in 07, then again last year.

The maintenance horror stories scared me off. I think in hindsight that was a silly thing to worry about. These cars are all high maintenance, and considering you can pick up an RS6 for $25-30,000 you've got plenty of cash saved that you can put towards motor pull timing belt jobs every 2 years.

I was talking to a guy who owned an RS6 @ a track event this year, and he said the car was awesome . . . when it wasn't in the shop. Can't remember exactly what the problems were, though. Blown tranny, turbos, etc.?

yeah, they're like big comfy V8 powered B5 S4s. Easy to forget it but they're 9 years old now.
