The MMI started doing A2DP as of the 2013 model.

Yeah...I did see that. I was trying to confirm that it's actually A2DP. It could be BT audio streaming but NOT A2DP. It would be pretty old school and unlikely for Audi to not support it though.

AFAIK it is A2DP because I can control my phone with the steering wheel / MMI controls and the remote control for the streaming device is usually bundled with A2DP.
