The Conti's are a bit softer than the Michelins. Not as better performance, but definitely better in the snow.
The Michelins are much better in the dry and wet. Much stiffer and sportier. I have run both.
I have heard that the PZero Nero All Seasons are also quite good. I have not run those, but ran the old Nero M+S's as they were last known. They were pretty good, but not as good as the Michelins.
