excellent! i guess my response was directed more toward Neal's comment of a car "always" smelling a little like coolant; and glossed over your original post that the service tech might have spilled a little during a repair. Yes, that would be normal (the smell) until it evaporated/burned off.

i had the "coolant funk" after my waterpump blew but it does go away after a week or so. I am thinking coolant got on the cabin filters and that is why you are smelling it. If it bothers you that much spray some fabreeze on the filters and let them air dry to get rid of the funk.
