I just bought a 2011 S4 and found it strange the parked position for the drivers side wiper blade sits like 4-6 inches up on the windshield where it’s clearly visible. And then I drove in the rain for first time today and noticed the drivers side blade actually hits the frame for the windshield when it goes up and makes a good smack. Could anyone provide a pic of the correct start position and maybe some guidance for fixing this for our particular cars?

I have had my windshield replaced 3 times in a month. Every time, the tech had to remove the wipers. I'm sure if you remove the arm , you can manually re position it to the correct position.
