Default Adjustable Control Arm question #1: If my summer tires are worn inside due to my current camber/

caster with my suspension, if I get the CPP front links, will that help prolong the tires and/or is that OK to do? I'd like to try to ride these tires as long as possible before getting new ones, and if getting the ACAs now will help, then great.

OR, is there some reason I should wait until I get new tires to install the new arms?

Thanks.

Default yes they will help depending on setting

Depending on what settings you use on the CPP links they will definatly help prolong the life of your tires. If you set them up for street not track that is.

Default I don't see any reason to wait for new tires before installing adjustable control arms.

As to whether or not the worn tires are ok to continue using, that really depends on just how worn they are.

If they aren't directional, you might want to consider remounting them so the worn edge is on the outside to get a little more life out of them.

I think I've seen people post that the CPP links can be troublesome for people with winter climates to deal with so that may be something you want to consider.

Default Don't remember exactly but I think the sand and salt affected the ball joints.

IIRC there isn't a boot over the joint as with the stock control arms. Perhaps this has been resolved though... I'm just going by a vague recollection of posts I've seen in the past.
