Already STFA, called everybody... Oil temperature sensor location on early 2000 S4? Not in the...
usual spot next to the dipstick tube up front? Called the dealership to see if the level sensor measured it and they had no answer. Anyone?

It is built into the level sensor on the bottom of the oil pan.
I know for SURE. My oil temp gauge went out, it this did indeed fix it. There is not much info on this, I know.
