Default Blow off valves on an S4??

I have a question for you guys...will blow off valves work on S4's? A friend of mine went to the import show at Englishtown last weekend and said he saw an Imola S4 with twin Blitz blow off valves..I was wondering if it's possible and how...any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Default damn...where is the bookmark to that website...

the answer is NO and not only that but...NO because the BPVs are BETTER and blow off valves are INFERIOR and that's why their not used in the S4.

Instead of dumping the boost into the atmosphere...it's kept in the system with the DVs. You COULD make the DV dump into the atmosphere instead of the intake tract but why?

You know...they make a thing in japan which is simply a speaker that makes the Blow off valve sound. That would be smarter than screwing with a sophisticated system IMHO.

My car is going to be used as a prototype for the new Rytek dual blowoff valves by blitz for my new S4. Rytek has done one to fit the Audi 1.8T and they rerouted it back to make it work. You will get the sound you want without the power lose. I will let you guys know how it works and soon as i get it installed, and tell you if there are any problems with it.

Default The air blown into the atmosphere by the BOV has already been metered by the mass flow sensor ....

.... to set the correct fuel mixture. That results in a rich mixture spike and momentary engine stumble.
