Brought the car to the dealer with chip in...
..first time i did it this way, mostly due to me being out of town and wife taking it in (usually i swap out..thought about it too late this time around and was a bit nervous about it).
Net result: no mention of it. I brought it in because of some steering wheel shake on braking (i.e. warped rotors, most likely). Survey said: they replaced all rotors (and pads). God bless warranty (for a little while longer).

I dont ever take it out anymore. The only time I'll take it out
is if I blow the turbos. Besides that I'm not worried, its an aftermarket warranty, and I dont think Audi cares about it.

You give them too much credt. They could not tell (upon driving) that my car was developing NO boost
whatsoever. I am not talking about limp mode; I mean NO boost. They were concentrating on my transmission for some reason eventhough I told the service advisor that it was engine related.
