Default Changing the fuel filter

I plan on changing out my fuel filter this weekend, along w/ a few other things (air filter, cabin filter, coolant flush and oil change). I found these write ups but they are both for a B5 A4. Is everything the same? Also, if anyone has any tips or tricks to make it easier I'd appreciate it!!

TIA!

Default Do it yourself unless you can have it done for $20, it is not that bad if .....

Run your car down to empty or drain the tank before removing the tank bolts. I just removed the forward bolts on the gas tank. For me the hardest part was getting gas tank bolted back on. Yes I had 1/2 a tank of gas in there.

Bigger Picture

If you change your own oil or spark plugs you can do it. It is not that bad.

It's very easy. Use Write Up 1. I've done several...start to finish maybe 30 minutes.
