Default clutch switch problem???

ok, i guess the S4 is pissed that i got an Evo... went to start it up and the dash display went dim, heard some clicking noises, and then nothing. at first i thought it was a fuse but they all look good. then i looked through the archives and i'm starting to think it's the clutch switch.

here's what i've seen so far:
1) car won't start.
sometimes when i put the key in everything seems fine but as soon as i turn it, dash goes out and nothing. when i do get power the interior lights and dash look fine but i did see that my radio has gone to safe mode.

2) when the display is working i get the "depress clutch to start" message. when i press the clutch all the way i still have the message.

3) when i looked for the clutch switch i didn't see it! where is this thing hiding???

any help appreciated.

Default Re: check your battery?

don't think that's the problem cuz sometimes the dash and interior lights come on full strength. i guess i can try to jump it though and see what happens.
