Does ECU store MAF settings, replaced MAF due to low boost and no change

Dealer voided my warrenty becuase I have a chip. But they did say on the receipt that there was a bad MAF. I have heard of bad MAF's from the box, but I was wondering if there is an addaption period.

Did you reset the ECU after swapping MAF's?

If not, I'd start with that.

You'll probably need to clear the DTC's.
