Donp air intake testing...

How is it possible that the air ingested by the car is heated up to 150 degrees?? I understand that the engine makes heat...etc etc..but are you sure you were measuring the actual air temp rather than the ambient temp. of the intake pathways?? I find it hard to believe that air can heat up over 50degrees in such a short amount of time...(before it gets combusted anyway)<p>-Cheng-
