absentme

The check engine light keeps coming on and the VAG Com found the following DTC:

16502-Engine coolant temp. sensor (G62): Signal too high. 35-10---Intermittent.

I cleared the code once to see if it was maybe just a fluke, but it came right back. Any ideas? I'm guessing temp. sensor is failing. Interior temp. gauge reading shows nothing abnormal.

Get a new coolant temp sensor and O-ring from the dealer. The sensor isn't too much money. The sensor is located between the engine block and firewall.
