Default fog lights on Canadian S4

Bad enough we don't get xenons, but we don't get
front fogs either. Have any Canadian S4 owners
got them installed, either by dealer or 3rd party,
legally or illegally, I don't care. The car looks
kinda unfinished without them. I know they don't
add much to visibility for the driver, but I
think they do make the car more visible to other
cars. The only switch inside is for the dumb
rear "fog light", but from the manual this also
turns on the front fogs? Any tips appreciated.

Default I might be willing to trade your grill for my grill and fogs

I haven't decided yet, but the fogs block some of the airflow to the intercoolers. Let me know if you are interested. I'm in DC.
Andrew Lee

Default do not install org fog lights

The org lights is too expensive and way too huge! It almost blocks the intercooler completely. Also, it looks like a plain A4 too.

I put in a PIAA 1400 fog/driving light. I would go for a bigger one if I get to choose again.
u need to drill 2 little holes inside the bumper on top of the Tow ring. To show the light, u need to cut the grill too.

BTW, the 1400 is really really bright.... I'm thinking putting a cap on it to lessen the battery intake.

no u can't use the rear foglight switch for both lights. U can buy an extra switch for CDN$30 @ dealer. I sticked with the org PIAA switch which also has a little LED on it.

I can recommend u an installer if u live in Van,BC
email me if u want more detail pics or info

All PIAA lights catalog

Default Re: do not install org fog lights

Thanks very much for the info. I like the idea of the PIAA fogs being very small
but bright. What I don't get is why the US S4s get fogs (Bosch?)? I mean if they
block the intercoolers for Canada, they block in the US too? What gives?
Re: PIAA fogs, I presume the switch is run and mounted inside independent of
the car's lights? So the fogs can be turned on independently? Where is the
switch mounted? Don't really like the idea of drilling holes, they say you
can mount with adhesive too...
I'm in Toronto, do you know where I can find an installer here?
